Greece

In the Dodecanese protected area (Greece), 5 pilot stations were chosen, where permanent quadrats have been placed in meadows (soft substrate) and rocks (hard substrate). Each quadrat has a specific identification label.

Pilot stations in Greece:

Palatia (Saria):

The site is located in the island of Saria. The depths where the quadrats were placed are around 6 meters. There are two quadrats on soft substrate (GR_S_1 and GR_S_2) and two quadrats on hard substrate (GR_H_1 and GR_H_2).

Diafani:

The site is located in the port of Diafani, in the island of Karpathos. The depths where the quadrats were placed are around 4 meters. There are two quadrats on soft substrate (GR_S_3 and GR_S_4).

Tristomo:

The site is located in the bay of Tristomo, in the island of Karpathos. The depths where the quadrats were placed are around 4 meters. There are two quadrats on soft substrate (GR_S_5 and GR_S_6) and two quadrats on hard substrate (GR_H_3 and GR_H_4).

Kastelia:

The site is located in the bay of Kastelia, in the island of Karpathos. The depths where the quadrats were placed are around 9 meters. There is one quadrat on soft substrate (GR_S_7) and two quadrats on hard substrate (GR_H_5 and GR_H_6).

Pigadia:

The site is located in Pigadia, the capital of Karpathos. The depths where the quadrats were placed are around 10 meters. There are six quadrats on soft substrate (GR_S_8, GR_S_9, GR_S_10, GR_S_11, GR_S_12 and GR_H_12).
